Raffles Museum of Biodiversity Research displays preserved fauna from difference habitats: terrestrial, mangrove and marine. "We aim to educate the public on what are the fauna that thrives in Singapore" said one of the volunteer of RMBR also known as the toddy cats.
Mayflower Secondary School displays tips on how to save the earth and the effects of climate change. "During the preparation of this exhibition, we are also learning" said Marcus, a Secondary 4 student in Mayflower Secondary School.
Alicia, a secondary 1 student from Cadar Girls School and a volunteer in Bukit Timah Nature Reserve, said that after volunteering in this she feels that she is more confidence in public speaking. She's also fascinated about avian, especially the Oriental pied-hornbill which eats the fruits of the Sea Shore Nutmeg. She also does weeding in BTNR.
Emily, a visitor who manages to bump into this fest when taking a stroll around Toa payoh says that the exhibition by Team Sea-grass made her to be more aware about the little things living in the water of Singapore. "I didn't know that there used to be dugongs around Chek Jawa" said Emily.
