| The Plant Group will hold its second Plant Identification Course aimed at anyone with a keenness to learn about plants but with minimal experience in identifying them. The 15-hour course comprises five to six sessions (four weekday sessions and two field trips) over the space of four weeks. The tentative starting date is mid-February, and the cost is $120 for members and $180 for non-members. Topics to be covered include an introduction to taxonomy, general plant diversity, and a survey of some of our most common and readily-identified plant families.
