The talk will cover the basics in orchid growing like light, watering, different types of growing medium etc, different methods in growing them like pot culture, mounting, baskets etc. In order to help the audience to grasp the finer points in orchid cultivation, the speaker will highlight the cultural differences between orchids and non-orchids. The speaker will also be introducing some orchids that are easy to grow in high rise apartments to the audience.[Note - Talk will be conducted in Mandarin language only.] Admission is free, no registration or reservation is needed.
