Soil is the most important media on which plants grow and is often the most neglected. Soils provide support and nutrition for plants.
Proper management of soil is critical for raising healthy plants. Many types of media both with and without soil are available for planting.
The talk will highlight importance of soil and planting media for successful plant production or gardening.
About Speaker: Mrs Arjunan Rajeswan Mrs Arjunan Rajeswari is a Scientist in the Soil Management Branch of Agri-Food & Veterinary Authority of Singapore (AVA). She provides diagnostic support for plant nutrition and advice on soil management issues in Singapore. |
