Plant propagation is a means for gardeners to multiply their plant numbers. Starting from seeds is a well known method but new plants can also be obtained via vegetative propagation via various plant parts like stems, leaves, stolons and division of crowns. Come and listen to this talk conducted by Ms Jean Ang from Hort Excellence (HortPark), who will share with you easy-to-follow tips on how you can successfully increase your plant numbers using these methods. This talk will serve as a good opportunity for kids to learn more about the anatomy of plants and how to start their first plant too!
About Speaker Ms Jean Ang is currently a Horticultural Officer in HortPark and she has been a key speaker and demonstrator for the gardening hub's 'Start your First Plant' workshop |
