The Conference is designed to enable 500 student members of Roots & Shoots groups from around the Asia Pacific region to learn more about how to care for the environment, network with other Roots & Shoots groups and develop plans for activities with their own groups. The Conference offers a tremendous opportunity for students in our Roots & Shoots groups to meet their peers from around the region and expand their knowledge about conservation. Roots & Shoots groups in Australia, China, Hong Kong, Japan and Taiwan have already said they would like to send participants, and we expect participants from many more countries as well. |
