18th of April 2010 marks the CDL E-Generation challenge, were you in the race? I wasn't, it flags off at Singapore Polytechnic and ended at Singapore's 1st Eco-mall, City Square Mall. I was awaitng for the teams arrival at City Square Mall. Me being a helper? Nope, me being a supporter!!!

Here is a write up by Kho Yu Li, Member of Singapore Polytechnic Environment Club 2009/2010...

I was excited just like anyone else to be able to participate in the Race representing SP. It feels totally like the amazing race on our televison which I felt it was cool. Throughout the morning, everything went on smoothly with not much hiccups.

Being in the Sun Group ( which is  motors.) Upon arrival, we had to queue up for 3 of the different stations - which includes segway, bicycle and electric bike. The rides were absolutely fun but the waiting time was the killer of all being in a race. What I thought could be improve was like what was happening in "The Amazing Race", where we can choose between 3 of these rides. This makes the time spent on this station shorter and groups can race against time for this Eco Race competition.

Most of us were pretty us-sure about the scoring system due to the lack of elaboration during the briefing. On top of that, due to the time constraint, we're told complete 1 question of out of the 4 questions, which the answers were on the electrical bike that was overcrowded with the other groups thus my team chose to use the ordinary bikes as this was a race.

Still I am glad to know that most of us had lots of us despite the many obstacles and wrong choices we made. Still I really wish to know what our ranking were out of so many teams. I look forward to next year's eco race if they still have it. It is indeed a race challenging our mind, and physical demands. I would like to thank CDL and the various sponsors for organizing such a great event. - the end

Hmmm...it seems like there are many positive and negative comments to consider on..wow..I might consider joining next year...Come on...lets join next year..we are all youths...
