No one is 100% Environmentally Friendly,
Just like no one is 100% perfect.
Being environmentally friendly is not all about removing whatever that is un-eco out of your lives. Everyone of us here, including you reading this have your own entertainment. As now I am typing this I am consuming electricity. Does that mean I should throw my laptop away and don't use IT stuff anymore?
The answer is NO..its NEVER giving up what you have to be green. Its about reducing or doing other things that will cover up your carbon footprints.
Being green is not about joining green clubs and doing big events. Its about simple living, all it takes is a simple action. Like bring your own recycle bag when you go out, like how my mum will put 1 in her bag just in case she goes to the supermarket.
SUSTAINING SIMPLICITY is the way of being GREEN. And it all starts with your pair of hands.
Start now, because its never too late. =D

Its not easy being environmentally friendly.
Sometimes, its just too hot for a fan to do, so switch on the airconditioning.
Sometimes, you genuinely forgot about your own bag, take a plastic bag.
Just remember, environmental-friendliness is not at all an abstinance ring, you just have to conscientiously do your part whenever you can, and that is good enough. Keep working on it!

This is an award winner art piece drawn by a 9 years old girl...
Her story is: I chose a happy life do you?
If a nine years old can see the world is in pain why not you? or are we too blinded by money?

Dear Readers,
In an effort to capture the extent of the environmental problems which our world is plagued with today, and to reflect the ongoing efforts to save the enviornment, we, the Youthhabitat team, will undertake to post regular snapshots of breaking news articles related to the environment.
The first article of our series focuses on the "dead zone" in the US, where run-off from agricultural fields near the Mississipi drainage basin has contaminated the Gulf of Mexico with toxic levels of Nitrogen and Potassium, forming a "dead zone" in which few organisms can survive. The low oxygen levels in the "dead zone" force marine life that usually feed close to the sea bottom up to shallow areas, where they cannot find as much food to survive. The organisms soon die and fall to the bottom of the sea, where they are decomposed by bacteria. This decomposition process sucks oxygen from the water, forming a vicious cycle.
Bet you didn't know that such a dead zone exists! Here's just one more proof that pollution of our waterways is still very much a problem despite the dire warnings by environmentalists.
The link to the full story can be found here.
