Youth Research Fund
The Youth Research Fund (YRF) is administered by National Youth Council (NYC), the national co-ordinating body for youth affairs in Singapore. Since its inception in 1997, the YRF has been supporting issue-specific studies concerning youth that not only help us understand and stay connected with youth, but also advance our aim of nurturing World-Ready Youth and building a vibrant youth sector.
Through the YRF, we hope to encourage not only youth organisations and voluntary welfare organisations to conduct their own research to better understand their clientele and enhance their programmes, but also individual researchers, especially youths doing their Project Work, honours thesis or postgraduate dissertation, to delve deeper into youth issues of the day.
Youth Development Fund
The Youth Development Fund (YDF) is a grant scheme to help Youth Organisations initiate and implement projects which benefit the community and society. It encourages the youths in Youth Organisations to get together as a team to conceptualise, plan and carry out projects that benefit others.

By giving incentives and value-added assistance through three different schemes, YOCDF aims to help youth organisations embark on capacity-building and organisation-strengthening initiatives. The three schemes of YOCDF are:
