For years, experts have sounded the alarm bells of a global water crisis of unprecedented proportions. Although water is essentially a renewable resource, it is often unevenly distributed or has become so contaminated or depleted that they are unable to meet the ever-increasing demands.
Currently, water scarcity has already afflicted many parts of the world and it looks set to be more acute over time. If we do not manage this resource in a sustainable manner, it is very likely that our future generations will have to pay the price for our careless and negligent use.
